Banshee Press is the island of Ireland winner for Small Press of the Year at the Nibbies

We are honoured and thrilled to be representing the island of Ireland in the Small Press of the Year category at the British Book Awards, AKA the Nibbies. We now go forward to compete against nine other incredible small publishers at the British Book Awards on 13 May! Here’s what the judges had to say about Banshee Press:

The Island of Ireland winner is one of the smallest of small presses, with a literary journal and a few new books a year. But its founding team of authors have built a reputation for talent spotting and critically acclaimed output, bringing new voices into Irish culture.

Huge thanks to The Bookseller for the recognition and to our brilliant authors, contributors, subscribers and readers for their support over the years!

Update: Congrats to Magic Cat Publishing, the overall winners of Small Press of the Year!
