Banshee Press will open for book submissions from 1-15 October

Who can submit:
All previous contributors to the journal
All writers from Ireland
All writers living in Ireland
What we’re looking for:
Novels, short story collections, memoirs, essay collections, and poetry collections
Exciting, confident and original writing
Books that might sit comfortably alongside our existing list – or something entirely new and different
Work from members of communities typically under-represented within literature, whether or not the work addresses this
First-time authors and previously published authors – both welcome
What we’re not looking for
Work that has been generated by AI. We’re in alignment with the policy on the use of AI recently published by our friends at Tramp Press
Books for young readers
Academic texts
Banshee Press authors receive an advance, royalties, thoughtful editorial input, quality design and production, distribution in Ireland and the UK, a professional publicity campaign, and entry into major prizes. Author care is important to us and thanks to ongoing support from the Arts Council, we have the resources to put time and effort into each book.
Submission guidelines will follow closer to the date. For now, please put 1-15 October in your diaries – we’re looking forward to reading your work!
