Gustav Parker Hibbett’s High Jump as Icarus Story shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize

We’re very happy to announce that High Jump as Icarus Story, Gustav Parker Hibbett’s magnificent debut collection, has been shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize 2024! Parker is in incredible company on the shortlist of ten, alongside Raymond Antrobus, Hannah Copley, Helen Farish, Peter Gizzi, Rachel Mann, Gboyega Odubanjo, Carl Phillips, Katrina Porteous, and Karen McCarthy Woolf. The Prize is judged by Mimi Khalvati (Chair), Anthony Joseph, and Hannah Sullivan. Huge congratulations to Parker and to our brilliant poetry editor Jessica Traynor!

The winner will be announced on 13 January 2025, and tickets are now available for the T.S. Eliot Prize 2024 Shortlist Readings which will take place at the Southbank Centre, London on 12 January 2025. The readings will also be livestreamed. Sign up for the weekly T.S.
